QuestionHow will this work on a i73 for fast moving indoor sports?

- Answer I've been using for indoor basketball for 3 years and created some highlight videos from mid court. The depth of field, speed and sharpness is second to none due to the 1.8 aperture as long as you are zero'd in on 1 person. The double edged sword is that if you need to get a wider scene in focus, the set 1.8 aperture will bokeh anything outside your target. Also the 85MM is perfect for covering 60% of the court but if you're looking to stand on the far end and take shots across the court it will be difficult - Better off with the 70-200 2.8 if you need that reach. I just switch sides of the court and cover the offensive action mostly and the images are perfection.

- Answer If you have multiple Best Buys in the area, expand your search rather than limit to closes 'preferred." In my area, out of 9 stores in the nearby area, only 3 ever stock the expanded Sony line which this lens falls into.
