The digital downloadable content is in the main menu of the game when you start it up, there will just be an option to download all of it or individually. Yes if you pre ordered it, it’s available to download the original game from the ps1 era until a certain date within the next month. Either way you can buy the original game for about $7 dollars digitally on sale a lot of the time.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, this is a remake of FF7 made from the ground up, FF7 Remake is part 1 of a three part game trilogy that will remake the entire original game. Part 2 is Rebirth, which released in 2024, and is available on PS5 and PC. Part 3 is still in development as of writing and has not been released yet. This specific game only contains the Midgar portion of the original (albeit heavily expanded upon in a 40+ hour game). If you would like to play the original game on your Switch or Switch 2, however, it is available there (and on other platforms) digitally. If you want to play Remake, I would personally recommend getting it on PS5 since the next part, Rebirth, is on there and Part 3 will be on there once released. Switch 2 might only get Remake, Rebirth is more complex than this game so I doubt it’ll be on Switch 2.
