Q: QuestionWhy does it take so long to receive digital code for bonus items for pre-ordering the game? To think you wanna use those bonus items but you can't cause yall have not sent the codes yet for pre-ordering the game.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Mine was just cancelled unfortunately. I contacted support and all they could tell was it was due to being "Unavailable". Their best guess is Square Enix did not send enough codes to fulfill all of Best Buy's pre-orders. I'm curious, did anyone receive a code from Best Buy?

Asked by mpll.
- A:Answer The digital code is no longer needed confirmed by Square Enix. The digital downloadable content is in the main menu of the game when you start it up, there will just be an option to download all of it or individually.

Q: QuestionIs this a physical copy?

The digital downloadable content is in the main menu of the game when you start it up, there will just be an option to download all of it or individually. Also no it is not a physical, it is a game key card which is a Phiscal key in in the card to download the game digitally, so it’s half and half I guess, instead of just digital you have a physical key to trade or sell later on. They don’t have big enough storage cards yet for the switch to fit a game all on the card itself, so thìs method is used for now for some games.

Q: QuestionDoes this also include the original FF7?
Asked by JonathanT.
- A:Answer No, this is a remake of FF7 made from the ground up, FF7 Remake is part 1 of a three part game trilogy that will remake the entire original game. Part 2 is Rebirth, which released in 2024, and is available on PS5 and PC. Part 3 is still in development as of writing and has not been released yet. This specific game only contains the Midgar portion of the original (albeit heavily expanded upon in a 40+ hour game). If you would like to play the original game on your Switch or Switch 2, however, it is available there (and on other platforms) digitally. If you want to play Remake, I would personally recommend getting it on PS5 since the next part, Rebirth, is on there and Part 3 will be on there once released. Switch 2 might only get Remake, Rebirth is more complex than this game so I doubt it’ll be on Switch 2.
