• Not sure I understand your question, but Recast has to be paired with at least one firestick/firetv function,

• Hello, I am assuming by Fire Box, you mean Fire TV Cube? If so, this device works in conjunction with that device and also needs an HD OTA antenna. It then takes the signal from the antenna and puts it into the Fire TV platform, will allow you to record content from the OTA antenna, and then watch and record more content form any other Fire TV Stick device in same Wifi Network.
