“I have an antennae that picks up all the local stations. I’m not sure if it is considered to be HD or not. Will it work with the recast dvr?”

• I believe most antennae signals are now digital, except for some old show/movie channels which are in analog format. When I went thru the channels to select favorites, the channel guide listed both digital and non-digital in most cases. I chose the digital, which is very good quality. I was able to eliminate several channels that we would not watch by picking "favorites" and then using "favorites" when flipping channels. We are able to record any of the channels using the Recast DVR. It works very well and we are very impressed with this product.

• Yes these are hd. Although some channels are the 480 format.

• The recast can record 1080 resolutions and be connected by WiFi, thus can be placed anywhere in the home where the antena can receive the signals.
