• Fire TV and Fire Stick are basically the same thing, except the Fire TV has more power and memory. They both allow your TV to access streaming services over the internet. The recast device receives and records OTA TV. It communicates with the Fire TV/Stick via wifi. The recast has no direct connection to the TV.
