I hope you are asking about the smoke detector as I reviewed several items and it just shows a question so here goes. If not I'm apologize in advance. NFPA 72 the National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code, requires as a minimum that smoke alarms be installed inside every sleep room (even for existing homes) in addition to requiring them outside each sleeping area and on every level of the home. Additional smoke alarms are required for larger homes, For houses greater than 1,000 square feet per level, one alarm for every 500 square feet of floor space mounted on the ceiling and within 30 linear feet of another detector. Again if that wasn't the the correct item/question please forgive me as I know how mean keyboard warriors can be lol.
