This will only work with Ring if you have the Ring Alarm system. You cannot pair it to your Ring cameras. You can also pair it with a smart home hub such as SmartThings.

Even without their professional monitoring service you will receive notifications via the app. I do however recommend the Ring Professional Monitoring. I believe they advertise their monitoring service at $10/month but if you pay by the year it's discounted to $100/year which is a real bargain compare to other alarm companies.
