“Does the SC5 connect with any other models? Do any other models connect with the First Alert app? I am not interested in getting any device connected to ring and it looks like the only other smart device only operates through ring.”

Hi! Compatibility with the SC5 would depend on if you are using the hardwired or battery operated model. If you want all the detectors in your home to sound during both Smoke Alarms and CO Alarms we recommend using First Alert/BRK Smoke and CO alarms with the hardwired "smart interconnect" feature. When the SC5 is triggered by CO interconnected Smoke only alarms with “Smart Interconnect” will also be able to sound the CO horn pattern, Smoke alarms that do not have the “Smart Interconnect” feature will remain silent. When triggered by Smoke interconnected CO only alarms with “Smart Interconnect” will also be able to sound the Smoke horn pattern, CO alarms that do not have the “Smart Interconnect” feature will remain silent .
