“Why did First Alert choose to take over a great (amazing) product and then downgrade the features? Not having a motion sensor, Pathway light or “heads up” warning is an enormous downgrade with an expensive price tag. So mad at Google for doing this!”

Agree!!! And also not being able to shut down the furnace when CO is detected which is another reason I bought 4 nest protects originally. I have two that have just expired and sooo upset that this is the replacement. Especially at their price point. If I had known they were going to discontinue them. I would have bought more original nest protects last year
