• Hi JimM, thank you for your question. Yes, the SC5 detectors are compatible with Nest Protect mounting plates. They can be mounted directly using the existing plate. Please note that the hardwired version of the SC5 may require a plug in adapter, which is included in the package when purchasing a new unit. - Maria

• While there is a new mounting plate and screws included, the base is compatible with the Nest Protect mounting plate.
