The gold tone is the only difference I saw in shopping for mine. I didn't like the extra 20.00 either but I waited for a sale and that helped. It looks really sharp.

Yes, the color is the only difference. It does exactly the same as any other color. I just bought mine 2 weeks ago and I like that it looks a bit dressier for work. I still don't understand the price difference.

Yes, that's the only difference. If it's any constellation, the gold is beautiful and it doesn't look cheap. If price is a concern, then you can buy the silver one. They both have the same features.
