• I have not messed around too much with the sleep tracker. But what I do know is that while wearing the Fitbit, it tracks your sleep, lets you know how many times you wake up during the night, when you slept the best, and also sets an alarm where it vibrates for you to wake up without disturbing your partner.

• Yes, but you view your sleep data through your fitbit app on your phone. I love it and it has been extremely accurate so far.
