You don't store/listen to music through the device. If you're playing your music on your phone, you can control it through your Fitbit Blaze (volume up/down, forward a song, back a song).

But since it is connected to your phone, you may use it to play your music on your phone by touching the Fitbit. You may think it's stupid and useless, but when you're on the go on a bike or running, it's better to touch the blaze then to pull out your phone and risk dropping it.
