• It is only water resistant. It can be splashed by water and get wet in the rain, but I wouldn't submerge it.

• I walked in rain with it before and when like washing dishes water has come on it before and it still works. However I do take it off whenever I shower or go swimming.

• No, the Fitbit Charge HR is water resistant for sweat, rain and splashing. It is not swimming or showering waterproof.
