It depends on a couple factors: which wrist you wear it on (non dominant hand is set to be more sensitive to movement vs dominant hand, and how much you move when you're sleeping) Overall its accurate enough to get an idea of how much good sleep you got
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It keeps track of the number of times you move around when you have alerted it that you are in "sleep mode". The amount of movement is probably how it determines whether you are "restless" or have awakened.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You must put the tracker into sleep mode by tapping on it until only the first and last lights are lit. When you awake you must tap it again until all the lights light up to take it out of sleep mode. It is accurate on the amount of time you sleep and how many time you wake in the night.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It tracks if the fitbit hasn't moved for a long time and movements that usually happens during sleep. From my experience it is very, very accurate.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When you are at rest for a certain amount of time the fit bit records the none activity as a sleep mode.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is gyros in the fitbit and when it notices it is not in motion it assumes your asleep when you get up in the middle of the night and use the restroom in less you stay up and active for MorE then 5 minutes it will show as restlessness. Imo it's fairly accurate. You can always enter sleep mode manually if you want it to be dead on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It works by registering your inactivity over a time span. I've found it to be pretty accurate.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It automatically detects when your motion is minimal and puts it in sleep mode. Other Fitbit's require you to press a button when you go to sleep. This one just detects it. If by chance it makes a bad guess, you can adjust it via their online site.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.my son keeps it always on wrist and I checked couple times and found to be more than 95% correct.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Extremely accurate!!
