This very new technology allows tvs to have better color, refresh rate, better viewing angles, along with a very thing body. In my eyes it is the new tech that is replacing plasmas. In your plasmas you had deeper blacks and better refresh rate. In OLED tvs they can turn off individual pixels and they have the fastest refresh rate in any tv. The only problem I see with these tvs is that they do have a problem with burn in.
