I wear mine on my ankle. I've had to cobble all 3 pieces of the band together to make it work because they don't make longer bands. I'm usually carrying something at work and discovered that it didn't accurately capture all of my steps. I'm also not allowed to wear it on my wrist during karate in order to not injure anyone, but i can on my ankle. It's as accurate on my ankle as it is on my wrist.
