Yes it does & you can also access the Fitbit One's web page interface to change the length of your stride. Look under the tabs at the Dashboard.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's pretty accurate, IMHO. I've tested it by comparing my actual steps to what the Fitbit says, and it is pretty close. It only seems to have problems when doing housework and the steps are not as well-defined.

For greater accuracy, I clip the Fitbit One to the bottom of my shorts. Even clipped to the waistband of my pants, I find that doing a "football drill" is accurately recorded for steps.
