Can I wear this smartwatch when swimming? null

Is the sense 2 waterproof? Fitbit Sense 2 | water resistance rating: 50 meters Just like the Luxe below, the top-of-the-range Fitbit Sense 2 is safe to wear in the pool, has a dedicated swimming workout mode and even tracks how long you've been swimming automatically.

User manual says: "Water resistant up to 50 meters and they're designed to be swimproof and stand up to even the sweatiest of workouts." Water resistance may diminish over time and can be negatively impacted by any of the following: Dropping the device. Exposing the device to soaps, shampoos, conditioners, perfume, insect repellent, lotions, or sunscreen. Exposing the device to high-velocity water (for example, during water sports). No! My $250 device fell off my wrist while swimming in the bay after only getting to wear it for 3 weeks! Fitbit says "Unfortunately, your product doesn’t meet the replacement requirements of our warranty policy." Thanks for nothing Fitbit! You would think a watch advertised to be worn for athletic workouts would have a secure band. Mine is laying at the bottom of the ocean.

You can wear it when swimming. However, unlike the Sense 1, the Sense 2 no longer display the number of laps or lengths during the workout on the app. Those are available only on the Phone App after the workout. The watch only display the activity time, which is mostly useless.
