The surge does. You have to choose that as one of the forms of exercise on the fit it app, when setting it up. You can choose between several different kinds of exercise. Hiking, walking, and cycling now.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I asked the people over at Fitbit the same question. They told me that it does not have a specific cycling mode but that when you enable the GPS on it and choose the spin activity that it will correctly pick it up. Just what they told me

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes through it's GPS and heart rate monitor you just have to choose the exercise on the surge
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is a "Spinning" option. Don't know how well that compares to Cycling but for anything that isn't pre assigned i use "Workout" or "Hike" that way by GPS is tracks mileage.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It doesn't have cycling as an “exercise shortcut” option and I hope it will have in a future update. A curious oversight but I haven’t found it a problem. Instead you select one of the other modes that enables both GPS and Heart Beat monitoring - such as "Run" and you get all the same monitoring metrics.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is listed as spinning in the menu

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. My Fitbit reported inaccurate distance and counted "phantom" steps that never happened. Fitbit reported that they were working on a cycling app, but no timing commitment from Fitbit. I ended up returning it.
