it is sync and it does gets the calls I get on my cell phone. I do not think I have to be within a close proximity to get my message, if you mean answer calls with this product I would not know since I did not know it could do it if it does. I will check the guide.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it’s syncs with your phone. But no it doesn’t ring. It vibrates when you get a call or a message or an event notification. It would be as far as your Bluetooth on your phone let’s you go. My iPhone gives me 6-8’ before Bluetooth drops.

Also, texts will show up on your Surge but you cannot respond on Surge. Don’t know what the range is precisely. Usually, I’m not that far from my phone - upstairs to downstairs.
