• No just sweat/water resistant. Water proof means it can be submerged. Resistant allows only a little wetness. Only damp cloth to clean and no soap.

• It is water resistant. So you can splash it, or sweat on it, but I wouldn't recommend swimming with it on.

• No it is not waterproof. But is a lot better than the charge, or charge HR. It is definitely a lot more water resistant. But I still take mine off for showering, swimming etc. But if it's raining while i'm running or outside, i'm not worried about it at all. it's great!

• It is not waterproof. Sure you will probably work up some sweat during workouts but you will have to take the unit off and let it air dry or dry it off with a terry cloth. At best the manufacture does say the unit is sweat-proof.

• No it is water resistant. The only area that can be effected is underneath where the charger plugs in. I've used it in the rain but I wouldn't take it swimming

• Somewhat. If you get caught in the rain while you are running, it will be fine. However you should not take a shower with the watch on, and definitely don't submerge it in water.
