• Call fitbit support. The best part of fitbit, aside from their management website is really their support. I started out a couple of support cases via their online chat and both times I was shocked to see how accommodating they were. Not sure if I just got lucky and caught them in the weeks prior to going public, forcing the support agents to be super supportive but both times I had issues they were resolved. Im sure if you call them or open a chat online you will be extremely satisfied with the results. Ask them how to acquire a new charging cable and see what happens. Trust me.

• I don't know the answer but tried as well and also have spoken to others trying and other then contacting the manufacturer I don't believe you can. No retail store sells them and I have asked Best Buy and other electronic retailers and they all say no. I have not called the manufacturer yet. Good luck.
