QuestionIs it waterproof or water resistant?

- Answer It's water resistant up to a certain depth. It's made for swimming, bathing, showering, etc. You couldn't wear it if you were scuba diving or deep diving. Swimming is one of the exercises built into the watch and will track how many laps you swim, etc.

QuestionI read one review that said that the Fitbit-Versa counted your steps even while you are driving down the road. Is that correct? Does the Fitbit-Versa count steps while you are riding in your car as steps that you have walked, or is that a myth?

- Answer Yes, the Versa counts steps when you're sitting at your desk and driving. I had mine charging one night and when I got up it read that I had walked over 12,000 steps one night and over 14,000 steps another night. The Versa is a total failure.

- Answer If you want all that, I would say the Versa would be the one for you. I've heard that the Ionic and Blaze are bulky. The Versa is slim and light weight with the different faces :-)

QuestionOn the Fitbit website it states that the watch comes with both small and large bands. Is this true of yours as well? You do not have an area for the buyer to select a size.

- Answer If you have an android phone, you can send quick replies which means you can't type out the message. There are pre-written messages. But unfortunately this isn't available with iOS yet.

QuestionIf you buy directly from fitbit, the Versa comes with GPS. When will this option be available at bestbuy? It is the only thing keeping me from upgrading from the Charge 2 to the Versa.

- Answer There is no version of the Versa that has "built in" GPS. It uses "connected GPS", meaning that it syncs with the Fitbit app on your smartphone, and takes advantage of the GPS in the smartphone to track your actual distance.

QuestionSo I’m really torn on which one to buy, the Fitbit Versa or Apple Watch? I’m into fitness but would also use for my phone too.

- Answer If you’re primarily interested in fitness tracking the Versa is your best bet and it’s about $300 less than an Apple Watch. I don’t know how long the Versa will continue to perform but it’s been great so far. It will connect to your phone, but you can not answer calls on it. You get notice that a call is coming in but you can’t answer thru the Versa. It does display text messages but you need a phone to text back. I believe you must have an Apple phone to use the Apple Watch, so there’s that. Good luck!

- Answer It should. I have a Note 9 and it works fine with it. I've also owned the S8 and Note 8 and had no issues with any FitBit syncing with those phones.
