• Yes, this bike will work for you. I have short legs and have no problems at all. Also, my 8-year-old uses this bike and she is about 4ft 9". The built-in desktop is amazing too I sometimes get wrapped up in my work on my computer and forget how long I have been on the bike. The backrest and seat are very comfortable too! This is a really great buy I have used it every day since I have had it.

• I am about 5'1". Leaving the part that is supposed to be between the bike and the seat allows me to reach the pedals. There is no problem attaching the seat without the middle piece.
