The initial download will be 50gb but there is no chance the whole game is only 50. The old version was a small download from the Microsoft store and then close to 300gb download in game for all the scenery.

There are other responses that claim there's "no chance" it is this low because previous versions used 150GB for base download and can go upto 300GB for scenery. Note that MS has moved a lot of the stuff to streaming content so that you don't fill up your xbox with a huge static download. Downside: you'll need a stable internet connection (WiFi may not be stable depending on circumstances).
