QuestionIs the Owners Manual that comes with it very thorough? I am a senior and can follow directions, but my experience/intuition is limited.

You can find and read the manual on the web as a pdf file at https://www.asus.com/us/Notebooks/ASUS_Chromebook_Flip_C100PA/HelpDesk_Manual/ or http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/EeeBook/C100PA/0409_E10177_C100PA_C.pdf?_ga=1.107325826.1828021623.1472546816 Before turning it on the first time, you will want to charge the battery for 8 hours. And for lists of printers that are Google Cloud Print Ready, you can go to www.google.com/cloudprint/learn I've heard that the selected HP printers from the list work best with the Chromebooks

- Answer it does not have a full-size HDMI port, but it does have a micro-HDMI port, for which you can buy an adapter. I got one for around 30$ but did not shop around for price and just got one they had in stock at the store.
