Hello, Thank you for your enquiry. This product is suitable for carpets up to 1/ 2 inch (including the carpet pile and the carpet underlay) and can withhold weight of up to 250lbs including the chair and the user. Under the correct application, this mat should not dimple, crack or curl. If you are looking for a stronger and more durable chair mat, we would suggest upgrading to our Cleartex Megamat which is extra thick and has a weight capacity of 500lbs.
