I assume it's less than a surgical facemask, which is intended more to keep patients safe from doctors and nurses. If you really desire protection, you need an N-95.

Probably not. I would not trust my health to it.

The HLT120 general use masks feature a 3-layer construction which includes a non-woven polypropylene outer layer to block visible contaminants. The middle layer is made with melt-blown polypropylene to provide ≥95% bacterial filtration. Lastly, the inner layer is designed to effectively disperse the heat created when breathing out. These are not for medical use. Intended for single use only – discard after use. This general use mask cannot eliminate the risk of contracting infectious disease.
