• Your range should specify what the amperage requirements are. Most electric ranges require a 40 amp breaker and an 8 gauge cable. Newer electric ranges also use a 4 prong plug for safety. ( 2 hot leads, a neutral and a ground )

• No, it does not come with a plug. Per the manual: Use only 3-conductor or 4-conductor UL listed range cord rated at 40 amps with 125/250V minimum voltage range.
