Q: QuestionDoes this range come with a plug and how many amps does it require?

• A:Answer Your range should specify what the amperage requirements are. Most electric ranges require a 40 amp breaker and an 8 gauge cable. Newer electric ranges also use a 4 prong plug for safety. ( 2 hot leads, a neutral and a ground )

• A:Answer A 40 AMP BREAKER SHOULD USE AN 8 GAUGE CABLE. A 30 AMP BREAKER CAN USE A 10 GAUGE CABLE. SO IT DEPENDS ON THE BREAKER SIZE YOU ARE USING.
