“I received this watch as a gift. I have an iPhone 8 and am finding that the phone is pretty much an expensive bracelet that tells time. I can not get notifications of any kind and the watch does not stay connected to my phone. Am I missing something?”

My daughter has a iPhone 6 and she had connection problems also. Reason being I think is because you have to leave that app running in the background at all times. If you swipe all your apps away. It shuts down the connection to your watch. She had the same problem so we ended up taking it back. And buying a Apple watch series 3 for 50 more bucks.
