These trials are not explained very well, i had one with my Roku player that i didn't even know existed until i installed the sling application. The 30 days were available to me with the registration of a sling account, but i'm not sure if the 30 days starts from when the product is purchased or when you register, as i am a AT&T customer and do not use sling. Best bet would be calling customer support for an explanation on exactly how these trials work. I hope you get everything figured out.
