It’s only You Tube Music Premium, which I’m not even sure what that is I haven’t used it I don’t listen to music, I am deaf. I went through the activation anyway in hopes of commercial free videos, but the commercials are still there. Yes I am logged into my YouTube account on my Amazon Firestick.

Basically, if you subscribe through the google play store, you won't have the request for paying for another subscription. Some promotions appear to only apply when subscribing through google via the app instead of various payment methods. This may be what you are experiencing. You can connect your American Express to google pay and then have it linked to google play subscriptions.
