• Hello, Valued Customer! Thanks for reaching out. The model FMOS1746BW has an exhaust. To operate the exhaust vent, Press the Exhaust High/Low/Off pad once for the highest speed setting. Press the pad again to choose the Low speed setting and a 3rd time to turn the exhaust ventilation off. - Reed

• Yes. There's a rectangular exhaust on the top, centered and near the rear, of the unit. It fit perfectly with the existing above-cabinet duct work, when replacing a same size (15+ yr old) Whirlpool microwave .
