Our Fridgidaire's (30" over the range "Professional Series") door was loose when we moved into our new home last year and has progressively gotten looser. We had a handyman look at it, he said we need to buy a new unit. Isn't there some way to tighten? null

Since I haven’t taken delivery of our Frigidaire microwave yet I can’t help you. But, Google the name and model number and download an owner’s manual and see what it says. Or, Google “how do you tighten hinges on a microwave” and see what comes up.
 You say, new home. Is it still under warranty?
