“best unit for my guest house I have a three room guest house at approx. 400 square feet. A door separates the bedroom from the living area. The a/c unit is in the living room facing the bedroom door. The wall opening is 14"h x 21"w. What unit do you recommend?”

Thank you for interest in our home comfort appliances. Based upon the information you have provided, we would recommend that you consider this such model and other 10,000 BTU models to fit your needs. This particular model, as well many of our air conditioners, has a height of 14 1/2" which may not fit your wall's opening however you are safe when it comes to the 19" width. We suggest that you consider either a smaller BTU size or extending your opening to at least 15".
