“My room is on top floor of house and sun beats on it in summer do I need more btu”

• I'm on top floor under blacktop roof with southern sun exposure and this ac 10000 handles heat 90+ with no problem.

• Hello Cj! The air conditioner will blow out 10,000 BTU’s of cool air for a room with the square footage of 450. With the sun coming through your window this may cause the air conditioner to take longer to cool down. Using a bigger air conditioner may cause improper operations.
