- Answer Hi tb. Great question. Temperatures of 32°F (0°C) and below will NOT affect operation. Additional compressor heaters are not recommended.For the most efficient operation, the appliance should be located where surrounding temperatures will not exceed 110°F (43°C). Kindly, Anna

QuestionJust bought a new one. When I open and close there's a "noise" coming out from it. Sounds like a musical tune so I'm not sure. Is that a feature of the freezer or an issue?

QuestionRecently purchased the Fridgidaire FFFU14F2QW and after a week of use the handle broke off. Put on a new replacement and ~3 weeks later this one broke off. Is this just a poor design or is there are recall ? Do I go for a third handle?

- Answer Unless the freezer is outside, it shouldn't impact the performance. If it is in a garage or enclosed but unconditioned space, it may work a little harder but mine is in an unconditioned space and works great.
