Hello, Kalind1. This ice maker is not designed to keep ice frozen. When you have finished making ice, we recommend transferring the ice to a freezer. The ice will last in the ice maker up to 18 hours, depending on the ambient temperature. Feel free to contact Curtis International with any additional questions.
