    • Answer Hello, Kalind1. This ice maker is not designed to keep ice frozen. When you have finished making ice, we recommend transferring the ice to a freezer. The ice will last in the ice maker up to 18 hours, depending on the ambient temperature. Feel free to contact Curtis International with any additional questions.     • Answer Hello, Valued customer. To add water in this ice maker, open the to cover, take the ice storage basket out and fill the water reservoir with 0.8 gallons of drinkable (tap, purified or bottled) water to the level mark and replace the ice basket. ~R'Shaye
