Yes you absolutely can! I have an older apt that has horizontal sliding windows and made this product work for me! With just a little ingenuity and resourcefulness (had to fill in the gap at the top) also time I was successful! Your query is not a problem really. Again you can install your air conditioner with only one side wing. Thank you
