• The filter slides out the right side when viewed from the front . It's a plastic mesh filter that's easily washed by using the spray nozzle of your kitchen sink.

• The filter slides out from the side. It slides out to the right so you would need a little space for clearance but the filter is flexible. You shouldn’t need more than a couple of inches.
