• Your window type is called a “casement” window. You need a casement window air conditioner. If you use this type of air conditioner , even if it fits you will have make some kind of homemade covering to fit in the window to seal it. That will be very unsightly. Though casement windows units cost a little more, you are better off with that if you can afford it.
