• All units have syrofoam in them do not remove, its there for a reason.I hope this good information for you!

• Hello Kms! Per the installation guide, it does not state to remove the Styrofoam pieces. These are part of the internal components of the air conditioner FFRA0522R1. We hope this information is helpful to you. –Thanks!-
