Recently went from central air to no air at new apartment in the middle summer. This unit came in clutch with the chill. It's easy use at the touch of a few buttons, and it and comes with a remote. I am a very hot person, I say I "run hot" hotter then most. I like to feel and fresh at all times possible and this keeps my room just that. There's a lo, hi and auto setting; there's a fan only, cool and energy saver settings as well. Other than that it a single push of an on off button and your choice of temp. even set a timer on it. Stay cool and a good little tip, if you would, if you look at the my pic. I've added an car air freshener to it perfect to keep the room smelling good while it's cooling

This is a GREAT a/c for the money and this is the 2nd one I purchased. It has a remote, an automatic setting, a power saving setting and even a timer. With all these settings, you can save electricity, too!! Also, it is not noisy like some of the other brands I purchased. It has the ability to cool off a good size room.

This remote-controlled ac unit quickly cools the bedroom, is easy to operate, and thus far hasn't raised the electric bill substantially. Solid build, sturdy easy-to-install product.

This Frigidare 50000 BTU window unit is perfect for a small bedroom (150 sq ft). It comes with a remote and digital output showing the temperature both in the room (when the fan is on) and the desired temperature when the compressor is running. There are two fan speeds and while it is not whisper quiet, the noise level is not problematic. Itt fits very nicely in a window and the room cools down pretty quickly after the A/C compressor is engaged. Overall, no complaints. The price at Best Buy was decent as well. If you have a room that is 150 sq ft or less, this 5000 btu unit should do well for you.

I bought this one for my bedroom. It actually cools more then that. It is simple to run and comes with a remote control. I love the energy saver feature on it.

I have now owned this window unit for a year. It's survived two hurricanes, and still works. It is loud for sure, but usually the smaller the unit, the louder it is. It's a white noise so it really doesn't bother me much. I almost always have it on the lowest cool setting it will go, and also put it on high output. This sucker is still goin, I would buy it again, just in a bigger btu size.

This Frigidaire window unit is perfect for my master bed room and does a great job of cooling it down so I don’t even have to run my central air unit. Does great on electricity bill also!

So far, so good. But it hasn't been put to the test yet. I bought this because I have a small opening that it needs to fit in. Although the specifications give the minimum width as 23 inches (if I'm remembering correctly), I was able to modify the two wings on the sides so that it fit into a 21 inch space very nicely. Installation worked out great -- now I just hope it holds up over time.

This little unit does a great job and keeping your area cold. I first used this unit in our master bedroom, which is a 13x15 and kept our room at 71 or below when it was in the high 80's outside. Thats with the unit set at 72-73, it still was hitting temp and shutting out the compressor a few times per hour, Now I have a much bigger window unit that was in the process of taking apart to clean so really this small unit was for my game room, which is about 15x25. My options were limited as the double hung window could only fit his unit or a portable unit(which i think work so-so and takes up to much floor space), The unit does a good job as i have a small tower fan to help spread the air flow. Since the game room is the lowest part of the house, it usually stays few degrees colder than all the other rooms, so this unit does a great job keeping the area in the 71-73 depending on how hot it is outside. Also compared to the two monster 12,000 btu windows units I have this unit is small and light weight so much easier to move. Also much is to be said about frigidaire as this is my 3rd purchase of there window units, and the other two (5 yrs, and 3yrs) still work as good as they did from the 1st day installed. Overall I would not purchase another brand for the window units.

I purchased this for my daughter's college apartment. She has no complaints - it keeps her bedroom cool. For the price, it is a pretty good deal.

It's a small, but powerful little ac unit. It does it job well. But just remember that it is only 5000 BTU, so don't expect it to cool down a large room. The unit is quite noisy though. That's the only downside.

This has worked exactly as I hoped it would...I can walk Into a warm room and have it cooled down to a comfortable level in a matter of a couple of minutes...having a remote is a great convenience and it works splendidly...installation was easy to understand and easy to execute...I highly recommend this unit if you're trying to cool a room of between 200 - 300 square feet.

The a/c unit is perfect for the small room in which it is located, as long as the door is kept closed. It will cut on and off, though, at random times and only stays on for like 10 second before it cuts off. I think it has to do with the eco-function, but not really sure. It was a pain to install and required more than 1 person, but it certainly has made a difference in our room.

Works great…was easy to install…love having the remote…Only drawback is the energy saver mode sometimes only comes on for lil 5 - 10 seconds and then shuts off for a while until the room gets too warm but I can just switch it to cool mode and it instantly cools the room down perfectly so for the price who am I too complain...
