Definitely worth the main in the aspect that it cools down a room. My bedroom is about 15 x 12 and it cools really quickly. Definitely like the roommate aspect of it. The only thing is, it is a bit loud. Oh well. The struggle of comfort, I suppose.

I really like the remote control. I also appreciate the high low fan speed selection , along with the economy setting which turns on and off to maintain set room temperature. Also easy on the electric bill. If it's 86 degrees in the house turn this unit on, and in less than fifteen minutes the room is totally cooled down..

Bought this unit for a small bed room. Works well, really like the remote since it's in an odd place. Works well for it's size and price only thing I would change is to have the ability to vent or not vent.

Bought this AC for a smaller bedroom in my house. It's quiet, efficient and cools room quickly! It had a remote and it was easy to install! Great product and price was right!

It works for the area I had it in. Kept the room cool and the remote was very responsive. My one downside on it is I don't like how when in energy save it only runs for a minute or so, shuts off and about 5-10 min later does it again. Overall though, a good Window AC

Easy to assemble and install. Comes with good instructions and warnings. Cooled my office sized bedroom very quickly on hot summer days and it has an economy mode where you just set a temperature...that way it will not overcool the room.

Works well to cool an average-sized bedroom. A little noisy for sleeping, but not excessively so. Does the job for a reasonable price.

Perfect unit for smaller kid size room. Remote control is really simple. A smidge on the noisy end but its very minimal.

The cooling power of this unit is excellent, as is the functionality via the handy remote. It can be a bit noisy at full blast; aside from that, it's perfect.

Works really well not too loud and it has a timer that shuts off at the specific time. Doesn't take too long to cool the room down which is great.

Convenient size, great price! Fit perfect in my small window. Easy to install with a window ac wedge that I bought at Home Depot.

This a/c gets REALLY COLD! I don't have to worry about that, and the fans make the air circulate very well. My only issue is it could be quieter. Don't misunderstand, the noise doesn't interfere with my sleeping, watching TV or reading. I'm just more familiar with apartments that have central-air. But, I'll take the cooling it provides over noise, anyday!

We like the compact size (and lighter weight to carry upstairs every summer for installation), and the 5k btu still does the job of keeping the bedroom cool. You have to remember to set it to cool every time you turn it on or it will default to energy saving mode, which switches to fan periodically throughout the night, resulting in noise and temperature changes.
