Good Afternoon Jerry! The air conditioner FFRA0522R1 compressor and fan will turn off once the temperature inside of the room has reached its set temperature. The fan will stay on around one minute, after the compressor, to test the air and make sure the compressor does not need to come on. The fan will periodically turn on to test the air within your space to assure it is at the proper temperature. We hope this information is helpful to you.
