- Answer MOST COMMON OUTLETS ARE RATED UP TO 125 VOLTS. LIKE THE OTHER PERSON SAID, IT SHOULD WORK. they kind of over design these things so you dont burn your house down. there typically always is a safety factor designed into electrical systems.

QuestionWhat is the actual minimum window opening size?Hi there, I am very interested in buying this ac unit. However I am seeing conflicting info on the width. The specifications on the website (unit width: 22 5/8 in) indicate it would fit in my window opening ( window max: 25 9/16 in.), but the box in the store, and summary info on the website, indicate minimum window opening of 26.5 inches. Which is it? My concern is that the smaller measurement listed on the specifications may not be inclusive of the "sleeve" the unit needs to slide into. - Answer The measurements they give on the website are correct, however, the 22 5/8 in is the unit itself and the 25 9/16 is with the window fins on it.

QuestionWill this fit in a window 25" wide?I see from the specs that this unit is only 23" wide but I am thinking that is without the accordion sides and was wondering how much extra room you need to calculate for those.

- Answer Yes, it does fit and with one accordion side or you can use insulation foam to seal around the opening.

QuestionWhy does my timer turn itself on and off?I have an older model of this air conditioner. The timer will turn itself on and off multiple times in a matter of minutes. If it stays on, I turn it off, but it will jump back to on. It does not do this all day, but at some point comes on and the air conditioner will go off after half an hour. I have tired everything to get it to stop. Is there anything I can do?

- Answer Sounds like a defective timer switch.Vibrations from the running machine are causing the timer to turn itself on and off randomly.
